Fabulous finds at the Rumpled Nest...
For the month of May, we partnered with the lovely Lynell, owner of the Rumpled Nest, for our photo shoot. Lynell and her store have been a great addition to #downtownweston. The Rumpled Nest is open Friday 12:00-4:00, Saturday 11:00-6:00, and Sunday 12:00-4:00 , or by cheerful chance or appointment. The Rumpled Nest carries juniors, misses and plus sizes, so there is a little something for every body type. The store is a vintage-inspired lifestyle boutique with on-trend apparel, jewelry, and home decor. You can even take some DIY crafts classes here! Their store features Sweet Pickins Milk and Wise Owl Synthesis paints. We have been dying to take one of their classes and hope to sometime very soon.
Lynell was gracious enough to let us peruse the store and decide what we wanted to wear for the shoot. Sara instantly gravitated towards both of these floral prints. The kimono is a perfect addition to any spring/early summer wardrobe. The blue and white floral shirt was hard to visualize on the hanger, but once she put it on, Sara knew it would be coming home with her. It’s long in the back, sheer, and has the most adorable lace buttons up the front.
Lace is super in this spring and summer and we could not resist these two longer pieces. Paired with denim or leggings, they make for a super cute date night outfit. Audrey fell in love with her white piece and had to take it home.
For this shoot’s location, we chose the beautiful Weston Orchard and Vineyard, which is located just outside of Weston off H Highway. While we were there, the peach trees were in bloom, and it was such a beautiful sight. It is the perfect place to take the kiddos to run off some energy and pick some wonderful in-season fruits. Cherry and peach season are coming up, and apples will be ready closer to the end of summer.
We hope that you'll check out both of these fabulous Weston businesses sometime in the near future. Enjoy!
